Selskar Gunn (1883-1944)

My interest in the life of Selskar Gunn stems from my learning about the rural reconstruction project that he developed in China in the early 1930s when he was Vice President of the Rockefeller Foundation. When I learned of his earlier life I decided to explore his career more closely, out of which grew three publications (see my publication list), as well as biographical materials that I decided to incorporate in this document, beginning with his theatrical heritage. I hope to add more as time goes on.
